Wrapsies...towels with a twist!    Made in Ireland

A unique and quirky range of towelling wraps & matching head wraps. When modesty matters, Wrapsies have you covered.

Wrapsies progression from Nov 2011 to July 2013.

In November 2011 Denise Dawson was very excited to takeover ownership of a wonderful business called Wrapsies which had been founded by Yvonne Carre in Wicklow in 2009. In November 2011 Denise moved Wrapsies to the village of Kilsheelan outside Clonmel, Co Tipperary. Wrapsies production was initially outsourced locally but Denise completed a series of sewing classes at a local craft studio as she realized if she was to fully understand the product she needed to learn the manufacturing process. In May a sewing room was set up in her home where Denise began producing the kids range.
Apart from in-house manufacturing, 2012 was spent researching untapped markets and establishing the products feasibility within these markets. Denise was interviewed on the Pat Kenny Live Radio show. 2012 also saw Wrapsies showcase at the 'Ultimate Girls Day Out' in Cork, the 'Ploughing Championships' in Wexford and finishing off the year amidst much fanfare on the catwalk of the 'Fashion's Day Out' in Waterford presented by Brendan Courtney.

In 2013 Denise was interviewed for the Small Business Show on ClareFM. In May Wrapsies were delighted to be accepted as a new member of Guaranteed Irish. In June Wrapsies in conjunction with Marla Communications launched the new Wrapsies website. July also saw Wrapsies exhibit at the Clonmel Agricultural Show. Minister Sean Sherlock made a whistle stop tour to Kilsheelan to visit two Guaranteed Irish businesses Wrapsies & Merck, Sharp & Dohme. He first visited Wrapsies (a start-up business) and then MSD. Denise has been accepted into the Get Ready Export program within Enterprise Ireland. The future for Wrapsies is looking very bright indeed.
